2008 Westen Australian State Championships.

Northern Districts Championship.
Was held at Geraldton over the long weekend, (31st of May).
Congratulations to Norm Abbott, Barry Cowburn and Owen Oliver who came first, second and third respectively. (Prone, A Division)
Paul Mogridge, Coral Walters and Ken Brown for B division prone.
Matthew Boots for D grade. There were no C grade participants.
In benchrest, congratulations to:
Peter Hug, Kevin Brice and Sue Mckenna for the Open Benchrest Championships.
Dual range was won by Kevin Brice, Peter Hug and then Zoe Filgate. (First, second and third).
The 50m Benchrest Championship was won by Peter Hug, Barry Cowburn and Sue Mckenna coming in third.
Thanks to all that participated and a big thankyou to the Geraldton Smallbore Rifle Club for hosting a brilliant competition and being such excellent hosts.

Kalamunda Open.
Was shot on the 26th of April, 2008. Was a small turnout but nice day out with the weather holding off and nice BBQ and raffle held after the shoot.
The main winners of each division were as follows:
Fifty Metre Prone
A Grade: Norm Abbot - Anschütz 1813 with barrel extension.
B Grade: Richard Kopp - Anschütz 1813
C Grade: Tony Breag - Anschütz 1411
D Grade: Andrew Sevelj - Anschütz 1913
Benchrest
Graham Jeffery - Anschütz 1407 with 18x Bushnell scope.
